          (And everyone else )

          1)NEVER use same password on 2 or more sites /forums.
          2)Always change password frequently.
          3)Dont re-use passwords.
          The above should go a long way towards your protection.
          Hope this is not “sucking eggs “
          Take care on Internet and you should, hopefully, keep one step ahead of the scumbags.

              Not sure of how they got access to get all this personal data but somewhere around 2012 a carefully crafted email that was visible in a browser window (internet explorer only iirc) was sufficient to fully take over a (BT) yahoo mail account. No actual clicking on links or attachments was required. . Some 'targets' were hit more than once. It appeared to be inherently insecure by design and no level of password complexity or change regime was enough. I mopped up the mess when a friend got hit. BT 'support' sorted her out on the 2nd occasion.
