What next I wonder, and is it any coincidence that they all look like washing machine or dishwasher tablets?

I am a caveman when it comes to such technology and quite likely to load them into the appliances!

I would be a bit careful where I put one if there any you kids about – might finish up with rather a lot delivered especially if the buttons or it flash etc.

It would be interesting to know how many they need to sell to make profit. I think my son may be ordering one for sellotape. On prime too. They also have an Amazon now, even quicker.

The next step on all this is auto replenishment of consumables, I have already read that systems are on the way that will re-order stock for your fridge etc.

My printer can be set up online to order replacement inks when running low, I do not want that but it is an interesting idea.

The Wife's car reports to it's manufacturers home when she uses it, we get an email report on the state of various systems from there, the onboard systems can summon help if you crash, and I think other things exist on there. Nearly forgot – on board WiFi as well!

Tomorrows World really is with us!

I always look at the destinations Michael, bottom left of the browser and in this case other than people may be flooded with adds for amazon buttons elsewhere there wont be any possible harm.

I did a small repair on a 1000ton Demag crane and the crew told me that if the crane were overloaded it would send a report to Demag so they would have data if any claims were made for failure of the crane fabrication. The machines are watching us.

no mention of choice of supplier or delivery costs so they can really fleece you. I think they will be in profit before your first order because they will have auctioned the rights to be the fulfilment agent.

We could do with one on the coffee machine at work to summon the repair man. He might just a well come morning and evening anyway the rate it breaks.

The fridge refilling thing has been around for years but not got off the ground. I think Samsung showed me a scanner equipped fridge in 2005 but it relied on you and the kids reporting usage.

With regards delivery costs, Amazon ideally want you to subscribe to Amazon Prime, at which point all deliveries are next day and free.

With regards the kids pressing the button 50 times a day, there is apparently some smarts in the system to realise that you do not actually want 50 new packs of toilet roll.

One person in the household here has amazon prime. I owe him £199 at the moment. At odd times prime can take 2 days. They are often turning out to be cheaper than other sources for all sorts of things and they have a neat easy return policy. The reviews and questions and answers can be pretty useful too.

We now have 2 of the TV dongles that can be bought to go with it and are watching an Amazon movie most nights. Some extra software can be loaded into them.

I am told there is also an Amazon now – delivered in the next couple of hours. No doubt that will expand. Might be able to get the Durex extra quick if needed. In some cases I am past maybe take the button to the pub. Might have been useful a long time ago.
