but for now – back to the decorating!
( You may notice rather more posts from me of late as this is an excuse for not getting on with it)

Oh ‘nice one’ Norman, I get far too much stick from you know who but who cares – “it’s good to talk” eh.

After reading Chris’s OP yesterday and agreeing with the sentiment I felt remorse enough to do as requested having posted on here for sometime. Wrote it all, even decided to try to attach an Avatar but lost the whole bloody lot before posting

I think in principle it’s probably the right thing to do if you post a lot but in my case theres no doctorate in fact no qualifications at all – well that’s not quite true – I do have one, in Health and Safety actually but we won’t go there will we – however despite that lack I think it fair to say I’ve had a reasonably formative life since leaving school at fifteen – I’ll try and have another go a bit later then.

      Regards – Ramon

        Hi Guys,
I am quite proud of my Honours Degree from the University of Life.
Mind you, when you get to a certain age they are two a penny.

I agree with Les Jones 1, that an approx. location is very helpfull. A few weeks ago i got in touch with a chap who only lives 1/2 mile away, and the contact has been of benifit to us both so far. How did i contact this chap? through a USA model engineer website!!!!!

I also agree with Les and Magpie, all we need is perhaps the county and town and country for our overseas members.

Do we really need the persons life history, it must make some of us feel quite inadequate.

Incidentally I posted this suggestion to the forum several weeks ago but had hardly any response from the living dead.
