Whats going on here?

There is a blue button at the top left of this forum page,

its labelled ‘NEW REPLIES’

Clicking it jumps me down the page to a section labelled ‘LATEST REPLIES’

Is there a subtle difference that has passed me by?

EDIT: I clicked submit before I had written a title that was more relevant

What is the ‘it’ that you are referring to?

Just sloppy work really, one or the other should be changed so they both say the same thing.
