Blimey, you've done it again. Anyone remember those Trebor sweets wrapped up in a tube sort of, the sweets being about 20mm diameter, about 4mm thick on the edges, concave on both sides, multicoloured, and produced a sort of fizzy effect on the tongue? What were they called?

Yes they were. I loved them as a kid. Also loved Caramac & Nux bars.

Now in plastic tub rather than a tin, and microwaveable not boiled with holes pierced in top. They are rather good and I've been a connossieur since the late 1950's. The best ones though were at my school which cooked proper meals on site.

You could microwave the old one, predictably it helped if you took them out of the tin first.

My bestest most favourite ever was my mums home made Suet, Jam Rolly Polly . She wrapped it in a muslin & cooked it in the pressure cooker.

That used to make you jump when the valve popped open. Whoosh.
