Have you tried Lidl online ?

Don't think there in one in UK; Are you sure you're not thinking of Aldi?

I do not think Lidl (UK) have that system, Aldi do have online ordering and some online special offers.

        Thanks for the thought though.

I also tried my 2 nearest Lidl stores on Friday with no luck, however I did pickup one of the cordless angle grinders I've been keeping an eye out for for the last 9+ months so that's a real bonus!

I bought my freehand/bench top horizontal bandsaw from Aldi online at about £150 delivered, its still my favourite Aldi/Lidl buy, and is still on its original blade, still razor sharp. I wish Lidl had an online store.

Well I confess, I bought one, the leads seem to weigh nearly as much as the machine smiley

Might get a chance to play with it this weekend.

I did look in my two nearest LIDL stores on Thursday morning without any luck. Guess it’s back to annoying the neighbours with disk cutters etc!

Look forward to reading how you get on because some items like that tend to appear again after a few months and I generally have good regard for tools bought from Lidl and Aldi.

It cuts 6mm black steel without grinding off the scale.

              The pressure is pre-set.

Nowhere near as many sparks produced as a disc cutter and they don't travel as far either.

No louder than the air flow when cutting

Looks good so guess I will have to hope they re-appear later in the year and get there at opening time!

My local store had run out and the next nearest one I got the last one. I had to make some brackets in 4mm steel for a motorcycle seat. Cuts through soo quickly it’s unreal. So much better than an angle grinder and a disc ( which of course only goes in straight lines! ) The seat pan was is 1.75 ish mm sheet steel and took about 8 seconds to cut out. very impressed with the unit. Don’t do what I did and jump straight in and make wibbly wobbly cuts- take a look at some you tube videos blush £80 very very well spent as far as I’m concerned. It will only get used occasionally but it will save so much time. Big thumbs up.
