      Hi All

      Here i go again!

      This was in with some stuff at the weekend:

      Obviously some kind of heating tool but no makers name.

            Hi Martin

            We used to use a very similar tool to join scarfed flat drive belts, the green ones, using a heat curing glue, yours looks a little lighter and more user friendly than the lump we used to have to struggle with. I think it was Smart and Brown plain lathes that were fitted with these that had to be Joined in situ. Very useful – if you need one of course!

            Something entered my head that this size one could be for industrial sewing machines, some dim and distant memory perhaps.

                        Habasit belt press spent 12 years looking at Them and have several for parts.
