It was too heavy for a tailgate lift truck so have to book it with a local freight company. The freight depot at this end is 15 Km away, so have to have it transferred to a local delivery with a crane equipped truck or take-up my neighbours offer of his twin axle trailer. Plenty of mates with engine lifters about, so that's a slab of beer job.
The place that I found the Boley also have a Kart E1N lathe up for grabs. Since the automotive companies pulled the plugs here a lot of good kit is coming on the market – plenty of big CNC lathes and mills floating around although people are still willing to pay over the top for one of these **LINK**

You call $250 to have 1000kg delivered 300km a 'Downside'
That's only down the road, and it's a straight run up from Melb. Heaps of freight trucks. If I want to shop around and haggle, probably find a bloke who's looking for a backload. Lucky I'm not out in the sticks.
Costing me more to get a 3 phase connection, lucky the power pole is only across the road. Been offered a huge (freezer sized) ceramics kiln (OH&S nannies closed down the oldies pottery club) so will require the power anyway.
The other two 5LZs are a few hours north of Sydney, an ex-army fitter mate gave me the tip-off. He works for a defence contractor who is about to scrap them (bean counter says that they have been depreciated to zero). So I just have to offer more than the scrap value of 2000Kg of cast iron and a donation to to the brew club funds.
My sister lives up that way so might go for a bit of drive soon.
