My Dad commisoned the legendary Martin Evans to make a water tower for him back in what I think was the early 60’s. Not sure of the exact date. Judging from the size I would think it was made for a 3 1/2″ guage railway. The family now only has 15″ gauge and the water tower is just sitting in the workshop. It seems a shame for this excellent model not to be used ofr the purpose for which it was made. Does any body have any idea or suggestions as to were would be the best place to sell it. Thanks Mike

          Hi Michael
I would photograph it, Measure it and make drawings and then submit an article to Model Engineer with a note to say it is for sale.
          Subject to suitability.
That way you would get paid for the article and paid for the tower.
          regards David

Thanks for the advice. I’m not a great drawer unfortunately. I’ve listed it on ebay to see what happens. All the best. Mike
