I saw a link to 'engineering' on Wikipedia and followed it.

The picture there is of a beam engine with uncanny similarities to Tubal Cain's 'Lady Stephanie'.

        What does the panel think?

No, I have seen photos of several that have the deeper coffered base with CI coverplates which are far more like Lady S. There was an article about one in Old Glory a while back, half reclaimed by the jungle. Valve chest is on the opposite side of the cylinder as well.

Funny enough I came across that same engine a couple of weeks ago, though I don't know how well it turns over nowwink 2 Would be a nice one to model from scratch.
