Digital cameras have muddled notions about orientation and so does the software used to display photographs. It's not a happy mixture.
The forum doesn't allow users to correct the rotation of an image once it's been uploaded.
The only sure way of forcing a digital photo to be the right way up (satisfactory to a human viewer), is to rotate it before uploading with something like GIMP or Photoshop. Most junior photo-editors will do the job too, especially if they are up-to-date. Inside the photograph there are a number of hints as to it's orientation that can disagree; photo editors set them consistently leaving no possibility of confusion at the display end.
