I got mine for a Myford Super 7 from Drives Direct – see ad on the right!  Very helpful company.

          No connection etc…

            Small tip:

If the VFD that you eventually get has ventilation openings, make sure that, in your final installation, they are shielded from the ingress of flying chips. Especially any fan opening.

            Ask me how I know.

Drives direct are very helpful, I have one of their Teco Inverters.

An cheaper alternative might be the chap I see avertise on Home Workshop goes by the name of Gavin Oseman.

              regards

              Paul

                  You've been there?

On the positive side, it did lighten my wallet replacing it so it's not such a drag carrying it around.

                    Hi Sid

Errrrrr yes some time ago. LOL was at work working on a crane and the sparky was working on the electrics. You know what sparkys are like working on live curcuits well i dropped a 15/16 spanner it hit a rsj then bounced into the control box straddling 3 pahes Wow to say iv had a pipe on that spanner and it did not break but that electrick turned it into a floppy mess and sparks and plums of molten bits flying everywhere but i was up high out of harms way but got a grandstand view.. Funny thing is althoughsnapon tools hav lifetime garentee the rep would not change it tehee .

                    Andy

P.S. sorry for spelling as my spell check has gone off line LOL

Transwave are pretty good too. Had a drive from them at Harrogate last year and help via e mail setting it up to run exactly how I wanted. Paul (rep) was excellent and a great help!
