      making some 8mm pins i found some required stock faced off and found it was drilled through whole length 13 inches with a1.9mm hole any ideas please

                Spot on, I expect. Such high pressure fuel lines would have started as straight tubes.

                  All high npressure pipes that we are likely to encounter will have started as straight pipe, whether cold drawn or Bundy.

                  The standard sizes doe 6 mm OD [pipes were 1.5, 1.75 and 2 mm.

                  (Sometiomes a source of confusion when nthe same pipes shape, but different bores wwerr used on naturally asp;irated, turbocharged, and charge cooled engine! )

                  If the donor was ex R -R, he was probably ex Oil Enginme Division at Shrrewsbury.
