        I've been buying my basic drills/taps from these guys…. simply because as a novice I figured I'd rather break cheap stuff. I've found it all OK although nothing 'Rolls Royce' to compare it with.

        Interestingly this week i discovered that their taps and dies were cheaper on their auction site listing than direct from their own website! As it happens I needed some dies – ordered from the aution site and they messed up and sent taps. An email was replied to immediately with a promise to post correct items 1st class tomorrow and not bother sending the taps back if I'd like to keep them….

          Tracey tools can be worth trying for that sort of thing. Reamers too.
