Treadmill motor bearing replacement

Any advice on this please. In particular how to remove the flywheel without a press. I think I can manage the motor bearings with a hub puller. The motor is a ZYT generic type, DC of course. I cannot find a replacement and professional repairs are getting on to be the price of a new treadmill.

Hello Michael,

Try heating the flywheel to expand the bore and thus the fit on the motor shaft. It should then be possible to knock the motor shaft out of the flywheel.
