Would anyone here have the bearing numbers for the Toyo ML-1?

      Thanks

      Nev.

          Hi Neville,

Do you have a manual for the lathe? If not, check lathes.co.uk, they have an instruction book that may help you.

I think you might find this previous thread useful, Neville: **LINK**

It’s been a while and I am still looking for the bearing numbers. I have hidden the originals in a safe place and can’t find them. I think I also bought new ones years ago but forgot where they are as well. Want to get this thing back together after all this time.

looks like if you find the bearings the lathe might go missing if the elves are as big as the ones in my workshop!

OD and ID, along with the type and width is the place to start. Some on here might recommend chinese bearings but I would always go for a well known, reliable, brand.

Double boost once made a video of “chinese shite” bearings.  I don’t expect his advice would have changed one iota.

OD and ID I know, that is simple. Type and width is another matter. Can’t remember what type or width they were. That is why I am requesting bearing numbers.

Sorry it contains no reference to the headstock bearings, but this should be of interest to Toyo-lovers everywhere:
