In issue 216 of Model Engineers' Workshop many of you will have seen a short article by Derek Spedding who made a very nice example of a toolmaker's hammer from a plan published in issue 13.

I'm starting this thread because I'd really like to see some examples of readers' handiwork that are from designs or inspired by articles in MEW.

My personal favourite article was for a tiny socket wrench – i literally got up and went and made one after reading the article! I'm still a bit low on sockets:

So, what have you been up to?

Have you turned any of the magazines ideas into reality?

          Hi

Is there any chance of reprints of these plans?

          regards

I may try and persuade MTM to let me run a 'Best of Model Engineers' Workshop' special to celebrate 25 years in 2015.

It would be good to fill it with popular 1-part projects or plans.
