      Hi There
I will try and get it sorted.
I can’t get to the bottom of the post to delete it.

        Hi David,
I can see that you have managed  to delete what was the third reply. The problem now seems to have moved to just after the last character of my test reply. The bottom slightly darker grey box which normally contains “Message members” etc is missing.
This is using IE8. Using Firefox  it looks OK
        Les.

            Hi David,
Yes it looks like you have fixed the problem. I have not tried adding a test post but the box to enter the text is now there as is the button to post it.
I imagine problems like must eat into your time. I suspect it was not as simple as just hitting a delete button somewhere.
            Les.

Should I be getting two different foremats at random times, it does’nt worry me just curious. The normal format has the adds on the right side, and is the one I prefer. The second has large print, but its not so easy to find the log on box for example.Ian S C

                No, totally wrong.
                You have an error somewhere.
                Forward more details.

Whe  you have large format have you tried [Ctrl+scroll] to change/reduce the format to normal?

Kwil, the lay out of the two formats is totally different, they don’t look related to one another apart from the fact that all the information is the same.I don’t know much about computers,Iknow were Ctrl is, butscroll, is there a key for that? I tried clicking on the scroll bar on screen. Ian S C

Scroll is the roller on top of some mice , the [ctrl+scroll] allows you to change magnification.

I have had this too, also at random.  It usually reverts ( perhaps”pops”
would a better word ) to normal after a second or so but sometimes it
                             lasts for a whole session

For someone to look into this problem they will need to know which browser and operating  system suffer with it.

If I click on “Spindle Speed” in latest posts, part of thread text is hidden behind the latest posts box. Doesn`t happen to any others.

                                          Hi Kwil
Just re-checked it and I’m still seeing the same problem with adverts overlaying text. I’m using Firefox and XP as well, The problem doesn’t occur using IE v8, so could be a small coding error on that particular page. If the page has been written for IE then other browsers may not display everything correctly. Microsoft have a habit of not sticking strictly to the correct html protocols when it suits them not to. Can be a nightmare writing web pages to account for all the quirks and foibles between the various browsers.

Hows about a “Mod” on the Sales and Wants Ads to include a ROUGH location of the users, so we can decide if it’s more cost effective to COLLECT rather than Royal Mail or some carrier trying to loose the said items and recently, I would have been delighted to have helped “Geoff” with his quest for an old M/E but HOW?? and the other, “LBSC parts and drawings”  of WHAT???

After adding a post (About 09:40 23/02/10) to the thread “Low Price Optical rev counter accuracy” the view of the page was totally confused. I think there must be some hidden characters confusing the browser. Could you try deleting this post to see if it clears the problem.

I think I know what caused it I used “Word” to check the spelling of “fluorescent” and then pasted it into my post. I think some formatting characters characters must have been pasted in as well.
