      Considering building this loco in 5 ” gauge. Choices of valve gear appear to be “gab” or loose eccentric. LBSC recommends the loose eccentric if using on continuous tracks.I am leaning towards the latter. Any comments please.
       
      Safety valves shown are “Spring balance” type. Is this acceptable now?
       
      Any other comments re building this loco (pitfalls etc,) would be welcome
