I am cuurently building a Quorn Mk 1, and am missing the wheel guard. If anyone has one which they can part with, I’d be delighted to hear from them.

          Hi Sean,

Since it’s a want-ad, why not put it in the “Wanted” ad section?

            Hi Sean,

I used an old small fire extinguisher to make a wheel guard on my quorn type T/C grinder.

            I hope this may help.
            Kind Regards David

              Hi Sid,

Thankyou for the suggestion. I’m new to the model Engineer website and haven’t found my way around properly yet.

              Regards,

              Sean.

                Hi David,

Thankyou for your suggestion. A little improvisation wouldn’t perhaps come amiss.

I found your website very interesting.

                Regards,

                Sean

If anybody is interested, I have found a company in Australia, Hobby Mechanics of Queensland, http://www.hobbymechanics.com.au, who supply Quorn parts, castings and drawings.

They will send to anywhere in the world, and their prices appear, to me at any rate, to be reasonable.

                    Hi David,

Really nice job on the grinder – I’m impressed!

….and you can spell “Genealogy” correctly  – I’m even more impressed!

Have you tried Model Engineering Services at Eckington, nr Sheffield who still supply Quorn kits?

KWIL, do you know of an email contact address for Model Engineering Services?

Found their website but couldn’t see  contact details other than phone/snail-mail (and I’m in Canada so email is more convenient).
