I had to take my lady to Nottingham hospital for a serious eye operation a few weeks ago,

We stayed in a B&B in Beeston for 10 days, so while she was convalessing I took the chance to go and see the old Myford factory in Chilwell High Road,

The roadside buildings have been demolished to make way for the new tramway system that has recently been put through Nottingham and Beeston,

The rest of the factory is still standing,

Notice how some of the gates etc are painted Myford green!

      Richard.

We seem to have a bit of nostalgia about the old firm, but how many people have bought from the new owners?

I recently bought a vertical Miller VME version from a deceased estate. I was getting a little bit carried as I already have a Harrison. If anyone's interested ?

I understand they sell as many as they make, rather than the other way around.
