Went today, a small but good exhibition, rather crowded, but that's the penalty of success. The downside of Sandown was that its so big it feels half empty even when lots of people are in it!
Not much tooling on show, mostly locos but some nice stationary engines as well. A modest but varied representation from the trade – Tony very cheerful on the Chester stand with a rapidly diminishing pile of mini-lathes. Stocked up on carbide inserts from JB and a bit of metal from Blackgates.
Met a few folks, but I suspect my beard may have confused a few folks
