The Little Scrubber

Last year I designed and constructed a machine to clean the track at my club. I call it The Little Scrubber. Members  told me she worked very well and most of our visitors were most impressed by her performance.

This year I have to give up Model Engineering for personal reasons so I am unable to keep her going.

The problem is that The Little Scrubber needs a dedicated owner/operator –  (which ones don’t) – and in my club there is nobody in a position to take her on.

She is not the type of machine which can be dumped at the back of the coach shed and brought out occasionally to be used by anybody. She needs some TLC and a bit of coaxing now and then but when but used with sensitivity and care her performance is truly ecstatic. I could not bear to dump her in the skip.

So she is available to any club which has a member who is able and willing to give her the support and devotion she deserves.

She afford hours of pleasure and oceans of satisfaction in a job well done.
