A series technical acronym from work which I am surprised has not featured (unless I have missed it) –

FUBAR – ****-Up Beyond All Recognition. Usually used in the past tense.

                  CDO

I was exchanging 'obsessions' with a guy at work the other day. In the end he admitted he had CDO. "It's the same as OCD" he said '"only the letters are in the correct alphabetical order". That made me laugh,

                      BMW – Burn My Wallet

BSA – variously B*stard Stopped Again, Bits Stuck Anywhere or Bloody Sore A-hole.

And in the car world there is Pontiac: Poor Old Nutter Thinks It's A Cadillac.

On German cars – NSU – No S****g Use
