Well I think it's a positive move. Something had to be done, the last Sandown Park show had a scary echo due to the lack of both traders and visitors and the three of us remarked that unless something was done soon the whole thing would die the death and after 110 years that's a pity.
I think it's a good location.
I hope whatever they do they stay there for at least 5 years in order to build a following as I feel a lot of the damage over the last 10 years has been all the chopping and changing of both venue and date.
On a personal note I consider the minimum requirement for a good show is to be able to come home thinking that there was one outstanding thing that I was really pleased not to have missed seeing. So any show must have a real highlight or something particularly showcased. An example of this was the historic models at the 100th show.
