          Thanks Howard

Bookmarked and saved as a PDF in my files (used the "Print to PDF" function on the Mac which is great for such stuff).

No doubt it's been suggested before but it would be nice to have a page for links to such things on the forum.

Clive: is that Print to PDF function part of the Mac OS or of the browser? Just curious.

Re Print to PDF on Mac.

Um I dunno if its part of the browser or the OS!

Browser (Safari) has an export as PDF function which dumps the pages directly into a PDF file in a location you choose.

The Print dialog box has a save to PDF function that works with "everything".

I usually go via the Print dialog box because it gives me a preview of what I'm going to get. Some sites have hidden elements that surface if you go direct or try to be clever and copy the content. Interestingly the pages on that Tapers link do not copy well. All sorts of odd formatting and size variation appears.

EGA – Print to PDF is part of Mac OS, also handy is Cmd+Shift+3 this takes a screen shot and puts into a new file on your desktop as a .PNG file. re-name it as a JPG file and upload it to your albums on Model-engineer etc etc.

                  Clive and Bob:

                  Thank you both.

In Windows the equivalent keyboard shortcut launches a designated program. Anything that makes posting photos easier is to be welcomed!
