I'm just about there with the initial setting up of my 1945 Myford M type and am about to purchase some drive belting. I'm tempted to go for the "T" belting rather than "V", so that it would be easy to fit, without having to dismantle everything. I've used them before on ancient tractors and loading shovels etc., finding that they stretched after a while. Anybody have advice for lathe use?

Go for it, I use them on my larger Taiwanese lathe. Ian S C
