Subscriptions – Going Forward

Following the re-unification of ME and MEW, the online archives of BOTH titles will be available to digital subscribers to the new Model Engineer and Workshop.

It’s not yet clear if there will be a new third archive or if one or the other digital archives will be extended with the new title, but all existing issues will remain available.

However I’m not sure what is meant by the “Digital & Online Readers” part

Neil’s post —Take out a Digital Subscription, as well as on the online ‘readers’, you can then download a page, article or full magazine as a PDF from the online archive. About 23 years of ME and the whole run of MEW.

I recently contacted Mortons because I wanted to look at my subscription to see where it stood but couldn’t log into my account. That was sorted out but when I asked about digital I was told I could not download the magazine or print pages ??

Seems to be some confusion here?

Seems fairly tipical of the left not knowing what the right is doing and possibly loosing sales as a result.

As I said and Neil then repeated you can download anything from a page to a whole mag in pdf and then read from that or print from that.

Please wait until someone from Mortons replies. I am not going to post what I have just been told but some of the info given by Myself and Neil is no longer true so hold on before deciding if you what to take out a digital sub.

The good news is that after about 2 years I have finally go them to set the archive to open on the latest issue not one from 2 years ago.

Just to the right of this on my screen is an  offer for Model boats – “Deal Ahoy” – offering paper and digital. I think ME should be the same.
