Hi There
I am looking at different subscription gifts for both Model Engineer and Model Engineers' Workshop.
I am considering various items of measuring equipment. We are limited to a budget but as we don't make a profit on the gifts, the retail price of the gifts can be quite high.
Certain gifts I have suggested already work well, the Foundations of Model Engineering book, the 4 inch digital calliper and several others.
However, we can always do better. With this in mind, I have selected a gift that I think might encourage a UK reader to subscribe, a digital depth gauge reading to, I think, 30mm is the first of these and I think it will be useful in the workshop. I have an evaluation one on the way.
What would you like to see as a subscription gift? Please be realistic in your expectations, this is a genuine attempt to give you a decent gift in return for subscribing.
What would make you subscribe?
Do you have any suggestions for overseas subscription gifts, this is a difficult one as I have to convince the office to do this so postage will be a critical factor in this. Perhaps a digital gift rather than a physical gift although I am not quite sure what yet.
Which of the Workshop Practice books would get you to subscribe? We have done a couple of these to the USA. What would Australian readers like as a gift, again postage could be a problem.
regards David
