As autumn starts to make an appearance I am now thinking about rebuilding this stuart no 8. What would be recommended for stripping the green paint back to bare metal to start the painting regime afresh?

Take it apart and dunk all the painted items in paint stripper?

Paint stripper from one of the large diy outlets or cellulose thinners.

Brake fluid might work depending on the paint, rinse with water when done.

On the non brass bits immerse in caustic soda. Rinse and dry as soon as you take it out as or it will rust. Don't get it on your hands. It can be tipped down the drain when you've finished
