Hi all you wonderful guys out there,

 

I wonder if anyone can help. I am refurbishing a Stuart Beam engine following severe fire damage in which many of the brass and gunmetal components were damaged beyond repair. I have remade many of them but am stuck with the entablature arms, item (22) on the drawing below, the radius link bearings (23) and the bearing for the valve spindle (36).

 

I have the Anthony Smith guide to building the engine and most of the parts are drawn there but not these. If anyone has the details I’d be very grateful if they could let me have them.

You might find Stuart models will send you a scanned image FoC, rather than charge you for a full paper copy. Worth a try.

I have had good relations with Stuart Models before but I was hoping for a knight in shining armour on this site. As one who always tries to offer good advice to those who need it I was hoping for a little reciprocal help. Perhaps my wait will be in vain?

Terry are you having a few more senior moments?

 

Just happened to look through the Andrew Smith book and if you lool on pages 5 & 29 you will find drawings which will allow you to make these three items.
