      H All

I got this a couple of weeks ago And I have no idea what it is or does . It is either some sort of pump or engine. Im not even sure wher to find the inlet for it. LOL. Iv added a couple of photos and I have more . If anyone has any idea what it is or what it was made for..

As you will see it was roughly made Iv not stripped it as yet And got it to strip and rebuild "better" lol However you will see the amount of solder or braze Whichever it is on the head, Cam shaftes (both) and valve pushers That is the large centra one and the two side valves. The rubber boot has what looks like string tied round the thinner paers to stop over expansion. The silver frame are wood and so is the main axle mounting blocks. . So like I said it looks old or is it that it has been scratch built by someone who has not got access to any decent tools? I dont know. So hoping someone can throw some light on this interesting item..

T the other thing is its 14" longby 6" wide

Iv marked the only places i can think are inlet and outlet ports with red arrows one is the exhaust like tube to the side which comes from the head and the other which I have not yet looked at is on the end of the conrod that is pushing the rubber bellows in and out?

Are the bellows not replacing a piston and block?

With the valve train on the left in piccy 2

So a pump for fluid or air? or the remains of an attempt to make a stewart type hot air engine?

All that rubber inlet/outlet stuff smacks of hot air/compressed air experiment

Could the block/piston have started life as a clutch/brake cylinder ????
