I have asked this question a number of times and nobody has supplied a solution.

This problem started when I upgraded to Windows 7 and Norton 360 security.

Still no Email notification of bookmarked forum posts.

These forum posts are on my bookmarks.

Yet notification of latest ME is Emailed.

Not serious but annoying.

Help.

Hi Paul,

By default my Microsoft Hotmail account deemed them "junk", I had to fish one out of my junk mail and mark it as safe. All is working fine now.

On top of that if your security system scans emails, you may find you have to also "allow" the emails in that program too – but check its log before reading in to it, and after allowing them through your email account, as it may not have stopped any yet (I don't know how active/smart these types of program are?)

I used to get notifications and now they have stopped. No idea why. The spam filter would appear to be not the culprit.

I don't have any problem with this. Could your personal settings be affecting it …. i.e. if you have configured to receive no email communications?

I bookmarked this thread yesterday and have been getting notifications so seems like something your end.

The notification of the latest issue, private message and alerts about new posts all come from different e-mail addresses which could explain why you get the latest issue notification but the post alerts are being blocked

Thank you all but the settings are correct and posts are in my bookmarks but no E mail notification.

Could it be Norton security being a bit "over keen". Do you have an "allow" setting under Norton for this website?

Have you tried logging into your webmail account on your ISP's server to check what's in the spam bin?

If your Email client has been flagging messages up as spam, or your ISP's filters have been flagging them up, they'll go straight into the spam bin on the server and not downloaded, I've had this happen to M.E. notifications on BT!
