I mentioned that I had one of these for sale that still needs some work a while ago. Some one asked me to mention when it went on ebay. I've listed it in the classified adds on here initially.
The further work as far as I can see is a clean up and some fettling of the dovetail on the main table slide. The person who made it usually asked a friendly toolmaker who was good with a file to finish slides off. This one wasn't done. The others seem to be ok.
Thanks to the people who have contacted me on this requesting photo's. I'm up to my neck with several things at the moment and had hoped to take some today. I will do them tomorrow. Sorry for the delay.
Latest panic is the side door my son has fitted to a small room on the end of the garage – he's shut it and hadn't checked that the door catch would clear to open it again.

It used to be a loo and a coal house – rather large coal house. The loo was removed and concreted over long before we moved in. While they were doing the garage roof I persuaded them to remove the dividing wall and brick up the loo entrance. Makes a good place for the garden stuff so I can clutter up the garage.
Fitting the door is probably my son's first interesting DIY job. He part routed the recesses for the door hinges, etc and finished them with a chisel, chiseled the ones in the frame. Managed to fit a mortice lock too. All neat and tidy, The strike plate caused him some grief as it's one of the ones with a box sticking out. He chain drill it or started to and the drill was running off – he wouldn't start drilling on full speed – I shower him how to pull the drill to get it in the right place and finished it off for him.
Then he had to try shutting the door even before fastening the strike plate down. Good job he wasn't inside. Going to drill a hole in line with the latch and force it back with a screw driver, Then do some measurements when it's open. Best option will be to file some of the end of the latch and reshape it.
Big problem if it wont open that way. Already tried spring steel.
My wife took me away for a few days for our wedding anniversary – He knocked down the wall while we were away. Neat job of that too really – hammer and chisel. I'd mentioned that we would best do it ourselves.
He laid a new patio for us early in the year. Seems I haven's done too bad a job bringing him up as he was x-box etc as a child.
There is a problem. The reason I am selling it is that I haven't enough room in my workshop for it, However it's shortly getting bigger and looking at the extra racking I can get in I may well be able to make space for it.
So I'm not selling it at the moment but may offer it again in a month or so. I only bought it in the first place because it looks like it needs very little work to finish it off so if I can use it selling doesn't make much sense.
Apologies to the people who replied. I've been very wrapped up on kitchens etc and only got round to what that means for my workshop yesterday. I gain a 700mm wide extended height rack and a small bench,
John
