Steam engine help

Hi

I have seen an unusual steam engine in a model exhibition wish I wold like some information of. I do not know the name, but the engine have cross at the top in witch the piston road and the crank is joined in some way.

I would be most grateful if any could show me a picture and/or perhaps a plane.

There are a couple of commercially available designs that spring to mind, Anthony Mount's Cross engine and also his rectilinear engine, click on the bold print to see them

The "Cross engine" is what I was looking for. Now I have to get some more info and drawings.

The company that I linked to sell just drawings or drawings complete with castings. page 6 for costs

It is possible to make the cross without castings, click the "bauabschnitton" link at the bottom of this page to see one being built
