There’s a ‘manufactured’ stationary engine trolley on Ebay at the moment with enough decent photo’s to get a good idea of the scale and construction of the thing.

might be a suitable subject for a model/give some ideas for a horizontal open-crank engine..

Big of an ugly duckling and also not typical of the usual construction methods for “carts” that were used.

Luckily there are many photos on the net of more suitable carts and if making a specific engine a quick google will turn up images of original makers carts. That is what I tend to do when making ones for my engines. Funny enough the one I built for my Galloway I found the best images in an ebay listing as there wa sno engine to hide the details.
