      Problem sorted, remember my post about twisting SS for plough shares,heat up with gas lamp,twist slowly with molegrips,result perfect with no crease.
      The only downside is removing the colouring,but buffing should take care of that.

          I find with my stationary engine projects and 80 grit emery wheel does the job then polish with emery cloth.

            If you want a very good polished finish then use a fine emery and rub bees wax into the emery, use in the normal way and it gives an excellent finish almost grain free.
