For the past four years the club members have performed above the norm in that we have installed a water and electric supply as well as a new toilet block to include dis-abled facilities. the ground level track has been relaid and the raised track has been resleepered and re-aligned. also a new unloading ramp has been built with a new hydraulic traverser still a work in progress being a conversion of a hospital bed. We open to the public on 2nd and 4th sundays and meet at the club on wednesdays and sundays from 10-30am.
New members are very welcome even if you only want to help on our open days.
I would also like to thank the community service-no pay unit who have manually shifted tons of clay, mixed concrete by hand as well as building walls etc.
We are a small friendly club and have the room to grow our railway into something quite spectacular after a short breather to build up our reserves physically as well as financially.
