Spare jaws wanted for 3 jaw chuck

Hi can anybody tell me where to buy spare soft jaws for my SANOU 160 mill 3 jaw Chuck please

this is off a Chester craftsman lathe these are the scroll type jaws

Do the ones Chester sell not fit?

I think the Chronos K11-160 is a Sanou so worth checking with them if the jaws they list will fit

Not had much luck trying to buy bits from chester

can’t seem to talk to anyone who knows much about parts & accessories they seem like they just want to sell machines I’ve not got anywhere in the past so don’t try anymore

Rotagrip are another option, I got a set for my imported 3-jaw from them, they give jaw size

There used to be a man named John at Chester, since retired, I heard, who seemed to be the only one who knew, or wanted to know anything about spare parts. Sad to say, he does not appear to have been replaced, so I wish you luck.

Hi Larry thanks for reply it seems like once you’ve bought a machine nobody from Chester seems to care

ive tried several times to talk to someone who knows what’s what to no avail

im thinking about selling my Chester lathe and.going for another brand shame as I like the lathe it’s just the after sales service that lets the company down

Rotagrip sell CC16 soft jaws which should fit the K11 series. Their website has dimensions for the soft jaws.
