          1090 Bar pressure (a bit over 16000psi)…. at 1bar for each 10m depth.

          It's not that difficult to make a box containing static parts such as the electronics stand high external pressure, by filling it with electrical-grade oil or other inert fluid, as I saw on a sea-bed plough exhibited during an open day on a cable-repair ship.

          Making moving parts work is the difficult bit!
