I am attaching to this thread to keep it under the topic of “Gear hobbing”. It’s one for the electronic geeks though so be warned.
I came across this youtube video by Andysmachines of a gear hobbing controller design based on an Arduino but replacing ALL the code to escape its scheduler etc. The guy has a few additional videos on the subject.
