I has designed and calculated the Scotch boiler with dry back and got results:
100 mm diameter boiler with 50 mm furnace and 29 tubes of 8 mm flue tube, total length of boiler except smoke box in both sizes. The furnace is without calloway.
Heating surface: 1328,3 cm2
Total volume: 0,66 liter (not amount of water, boiler only)
Is it a good boiler and will it run a Stuart D10 in a tugboat? Ceramic burner or blowlampe is recommended to use in the boiler.?
I has Southworth waterpump to keep waterlevel in the boiler.
