For all members Have received e mail from US dept. of Justice purporting to be on compensation list for being scammed with a compensation package, from Western Union, of $US 1 million; asking to contact a guy in the US.
This is obviously another scam, if anyone else receives similar e-mail do not click on the link for this guy…

Yeah, I have a busy day tomorrow.

            On the agenda:-

            1. Get in touch with the 18 year old Russian girl who is very much interested in me (she likes my photo and thinks I'm sexy).

            2. Sort out my bank account. It will be closed if I don't confirm my details.

            3. Have a chat with the African millionaire who needs my help getting money into the UK.

            4. Sort out an Amazon order that has been cancelled. I'm sure I did not order anything through Amazon, but I must be mistaken.

            5. Pass on my details so I can pick up the undelivered UPS parcel awaiting my collection.

            6. Claim that £234.42 tax refund. It would be rude not to.

            I'll do my best.

            Steve

It was a few years back now in the noughties the IRS in the UK told around 10,000 people there may have been an error in their tax calculation and if they wanted it re-done to get in touch with them

They didn't get a single reply

DHL has been failing to deliver a package to my home every day the past fortnight apparently and I should click on a link to track my parcel. Except I have nothing on order — and I have been home all day every day and no delivery man has appeared once. Must be bloody good that DHL though, they even tried and failed to deliver my parcel on Sunday. Heartwarming to see such a conscientious outfit trying so hard to help me out.

Hi, well I've had the tax office give me money back several times, but they've always sent a cheque direct to my address after they have sent me a letter with all the details of it, never had to click a link or anything to claim it and haven't always known it was overpaid.

                  Regards Nick.

Now in my sixties I seem to be attracting a lot of 'ladies' who would like to know me better. If only this had happened 45 years ago I might have been tempted, although I am presuming the mails are from some hairy ar**d Russian of dubious gender?

I have had One that said She was outside in the drive way waiting for Me. I did not even pull the curtain, just to be safe. My luck She would be there.

Don't ignore the oriental lady offering to recover your bank charges!

She may not know which bank you use, but she will keep querying until she finds out yours (if you are stupid enough to tell her!)

It would be extremely rude to offer her a job which involves sex and travel.

These things really should be blocked by the ISP or phone company but where's the revenue in that? My postie is kept busy with letters from the BBC saying they will visit on a particular day to watch TV with me. I stay in and set the tea table and bake a cake but they never show up. frown Still it keeps the postie in work though I'd like to tell him not to bother if it is wet or snowing and wet branches are hanging down over the path. Perhaps if I cut a slot in the dustbin lid and put it by the gate he could deliver them straight in.

The suggested fines for pestering charities won't cover the BBC I suppose.

LOL, all good fun at the end of the day, albeit irritating face 18
