Record Morticer WRM 200-vertical column design

Hi guys

 

Has anyone used a Record Morticer WRM 200 in his wood working?

I’m very keen to study the solid cast iron dovetail column design. Could

anyone share some light over this super rigid column that can withstand

side forces in square slot drilling. A good design for small milling machine.

 

Pity this wonderful machine is no longer produced by Record (UK) I saw this

machine in my 1993 Record catalogue. I tried to google for the machine

manual but nowhere to be found.
