        Hi all,

After joining the website a few weeks ago and then signing up for the digital and hard copy of the 'Model Engineers' Workshop' magazine, I've just received my first hard copy (Jan 2022 issue) through the letterbox.

I'd just like to say that is a great read, and with plenty ads (I'm a bit sad in that I like reading the ads …it probably goes back to reading Superman comic days )

I like the Reader's Tips of a 'Speedy Drawbar Adjuster' …this is something that I am aware is time consuming on my (ARC SX2P) mill.

        Well done to all involved.

        Ches.

            Hi Neil,

Yes, it cheered me up to It'll last me through the festive period, and then join the 'library' where it will sit with the only other actual hard copy of a Model Engineers' Workshop magazine I have, which was bought from a 'real' shop.

That was the 25th anniversary edition which was in 2015 IIRC. It still gets flicked though once a month or so, and it now allows me to compare manufactures' prices from 7 yrs ago! Yes, prices have gone up but so have features and overall workshop equipment is still bearably priced.

            All the best for 2022,

            Ches.

I was a subscriber a while ago, and then recently re-upped. I have to agree that I was always impressed with the quality of the magazine (though I'd prefer less ads and more content ). I'm not even a model engineer. But I think MEW does a much better job than any of our U.S. "machining" mags.
