In the ideal world, I would have more details, and put a proper ad in the "For Sale" section, but posting here to gain a wider audience in a shorter timeframe.

I've just had a phone call from a friend, with the offer of what was described as a 5" Raglan.
I've no more details than that, of tooling, condition, cabinet, or anything else really.

It's allegedly free to a good home, in St Albans area somewhere, and needs shifting within a fortnight, or it goes to the scrap yard.

My friend, who I don't think has even seen the lathe, is off on holiday tomorrow, but has kindly offered to put a genuine prospective new owner in contact with the person trying to arrange the disposal of the machine.

If someone genuine is interested, please PM me a mobile number, and I will then text my mate, who will pass it on to the current owner, so the two of you can discuss it.
I think our only involvement will be swapping some text messages of phone numbers and names.

Neither of us will be having anything to do with the transfer of ownership ourselves, he's out of the country, and I'm in Derbyshire.
