Quorn 3 end mill sharpening set up.

I read that the Quorn 3 hand book has a new, simple set up procedure for sharpening end mills. Where can this be viewed without buying the hand book?

      Thanks,

      Dave T

I’d be interested too, but I suspect the information comes only with the Hemingway kit. Presumably it applies only to the new tooth rest etc design of the MK 3 and earlier models would need to be modified to suit.

Greetings, have you tried the Quorn users group?

There is a short video on the Hemingway Kits website you may find helpful.

Given the great vesrsatility of the Quorn, am sure that it can be set up to grind the cutting edges of end mills.

Grinding the helical flutes might be a little more ninvolved, am sure that bit can be done.

Certainly sharpening the end teeth is possible on less complicate machines, (Have even managed it on my simple Worden, using a homemade ER 20 collet holder, originally made for drill grinding.)

                      Howard
