When priting pages of back issues I find the print at the page bottom is missing.
It is not an error of my printer settings, it appears to be a conversion error, can this be corrected by the web page designers?
      Garth.

Hi everybody. Had same prob myself printing the sample MEW. When your printer box comes up check in settings that you are printing A4 and not letter size, as this seems to be the system default size.

            Hi MP ,
My priter was definatly set for A4 that was first thing I checked.
I am going to see if there is a difference between Fire Fox & Internet Exp , the new FF is a bit buggy.

              Hello Garth & MP,

I had a play with the sample before committing to a sub, and found the same problem.

I attacked it in a different way. Instead of using my default printer, I selected Microsoft XPS document Writer, and in Printing PreferencesAdvanced selected A4 Extra.

I then printed 20 pages at a time so I didn’t have to wait too long to see the result. When viewed, the whole page was visible so it can be seen if any are out of squence.

Because I don’t want to print the whole magazine, just the article Etc. of interest, I saved the three XPS files (p1-20 21-40 41-68) as Adobe PDF’s and then combined them into a single PDF.

This resulted in a file the same as the other downloads – Model Mechanics Etc. which have the thumbnails down the side to find the page you want instantly.

I hope this is of some help.
              Regards
              Jim

I found that, to get a satisfactory result, not only was it necessary to set the paper size to A4 but I had to set the scale to 96 or 97% too

                  Thanks to all who replied,
I have found that if I download with a pdf printer conversion it comes out correctly.
                  Regards Garth.
