Princess Coronation 0 gauge

Hi guys,

i am looking to start a new project and thinking of the princess coronation in 0 gauge as drawn by K E Winson, however, the tapered boiler looks a bit daunting. Can any members offer a possible source of supply for either complete boiler or alternatively formed blanks ready for silver soldering. i have contacted Kenyons who supply castings and laser cut frames but cannot help with boiler.

Contact the above link, although they do larger scale locomotive boilers they do list some gauge 1 locomotives, worth a try for your gauge 0 design.

Thanks Michael. I have already e mailed western steam and am awaiting reply, however I am not over optimistic as they list a comprehensive gallery of previously made boilers and this one is not there! Without previously made templates and formers cost may be a factor.

I believe some builders have overcome a similar problem by hiding a parallel shell under tapered cladding, but it does reduce the steam space somewhat.
