When we had the truck garage we had all sorts of oil cans, expensive ones, cheap ones, air powered ones but one thing I did learn none of them can stand being run over or having a tipper body dropped on them so order of the day was buy cheap and replace when flat.
I still have some of these cans, just the cheap type that John shows, some are over 30 years old and still perform well.
I also have to question just how much work an oil can gets in a home shop given the size and limited machinery.
If you lubricated every machine just a day you would be swimming in oil. Surely it's not rocket science ?
